Jeanae Beal is the Senior Trainer for WordSmooth's Socha program. A presenter of the Socha programs since 2002, her career spans 30 years from teacher to elementary principal to a central level administrator all in public education. She worked for Dallas ISD for 14 years (the last six as a principal); Cambridge Public Schools in Cambridge, MA for one year as an assistant principal; and Duncanville ISD for 15 years (five as principal, ten years as central administrator – ranging from special education director to assistant superintendant). As a volunteer with the
Greater Dallas Community Relations Commission, she provided diversity training for a number of organizations in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, including United Way, the City of Coppell and Mesquite ISD. Jeanae received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas and her master degree from Prairie View A & M University. In her spare time Jeanae enjoys working out. Active in the Children’s Ministry at Friendship-West Baptist Church, her life goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of youth.
Patty's experience as a conflict resolution specialist, diversity trainer, mediator and mother of two boys has helped her develop an honest and effective communication style that engages the listener. Her faith, combined with her involvement in civil rights efforts, has given her a deep appreciation and respect for diversity that informs all of her endeavors. Patty's "Socha" diversity + effectiveness workshop series helps school districts, corporations, governmental agencies and non-profits "Sow, Cultivate, and Harvest" their organizations' full potential. David Bowling is an award winning speaker, Associate Trainer for WordSmooth and member of the diversity training team for the Resource Center of Dallas. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Texas at Arlington, David pursued interests in the Radio Broadcasting Industry and Aviation. Although fun, these fields never satisfied his desire to make a difference in the world. Having grown up in various parts of the southern U.S., David witnessed and experienced first hand the mistreatment of individuals for no other reason than their gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation. As a board member of Mosaic Family Services, serving 1st generation immigrant clients from around the

world in need of basic services, David developed and presented a training program on human trafficking. In 2008, David’s belief in the connectedness of all human beings and the inherent worth of every person, combined with his enjoyment of teaching, compelled him to begin a new career as a diversity educator. Smart, personable and funny, David connects with groups large and small. When he’s not contemplating the meaning of life, David enjoys playing golf, reading, cooking and attending cultural events with his friends.
"Very few people push me motivationally because usually I feel like I am already going full throttle. Thank you for being a leader in the gospel of diversity. You have helped me not only reach out to the urban communities but to the world through this book."
